The industrial utopia of Crespi d’Adda in photographs from the historical archive. The images collected in this publication are a reasoned selection of one hundred and seventy photographs that the owners of the Benigno Crespi Industria Tessile had made between 1876 and 1930 and which are now preserved, together with another six hundred and ten glass plates, twelve sample books, three hundred and ninety-five folders, three hundred and ninety-one registers, one thousand five hundred and thirty-eight drawings, and two hundred and fifteen photographs and photo albums, on the highest floor of the building of the former S.T.I. kindergarten schools. of Crespi d’Adda.This very precious archive was created, starting from the end of the 1980s, by ing. Giovanni Rinaldi, at the time responsible for the technical office of the textile group.
